About Paul Churchill ltd. I have twenty years experience in the catering, restaurant, bar and event industries. After qualifying as top student at catering college I worked as a chef and head chef in Paris and London. I moved into bar and night club management as well as a spell managing an internet cafe. I have created menus, drinks and wine lists for new venues including the Ritzy cinema in London where I was the opening catering and bar manager for the rebuilt five screen cinema. I was manager of the pioneering Dog Star bar in London which was one of the first DJ / Style bars in London and had a weekly revenue in excess of £45k. I worked as overall catering manager for the Mean Fiddler Group where I gained my first experience in events. I had further experience in events during my two years as manager and company secretary with Mamaloucos contemporary circus. Individually and with others I have promoted and organised many events both indoors and out from sporting events to nightclub style parties in unusual venues. I have produced feasibility studies for proposed bars, restaurants and catering businesses. I have recently successfully completed an 18 month contract for a five bar group, overseeing all management issues and having control of all stock and purchasing with an annual budget of £1.3m I am a personal license holder
and am entitled to sell alcohol at up to fifty events a year in venues
that are not normally licensed.
